2011 Mitsubishi Minicab MiEV electric cars
Now, Mitsubishi reports that Japan's Yamato Takyubin Delivery Company has placed a 100-unit order for the electric Minicab.
The Minicab MiEV is an electric commercial van that's offered with a choice of either a 10.5 kWh or a 16.0 kWh Toshiba-supplied battery pack. Powered by Toshiba's SCiB lithium-ion battery technology, the Minicab MiEV boasts a range of 100 kilometers (62 miles) with the 10 kWh pack and 150 km (93 miles) with the optional 16 kWh unit.
Minicab MiEV electric commercial van is offered with a choice of 10.5 kWh battery or 16 Kwh supplied by Toshiba. Mitsubishi states that the minicab MiEV version 10.5 kWh will be sold around 1.7 million yen, while 16 kWh version priced 2.02 million yen,
Mitsubishi Minicab-MiEV has begun to open orders for compact electric commercial vehicles, "minicab-MiEV". Electric vehicle technology used in the minicab was adopted directly from a small electric car Mitsubishi i-MiEV. Two variants of minicab-MiEV offers differentiated based on battery capacity.
