Peugeot 508 RXH diesel-electric hybrid debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The Peugeot 508 RXH diesel-electric hybrid has been officially revealed ahead of its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Featuring four-wheel drive via Peugeot's HYbrid4 technology, the 508 RXH comes packing the automaker's 2.0-liter HDi diesel engine along with a 28-kilowatt (38-horsepower) electric motor.
After introducing its sedan and station wagon models, Peugeot has unveiled the new 508 RXH a few months before the SUV’s official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The car’s diesel-electric HYbrid4 - as found in Peugeot’s 3008 Hybrid4 - will deliver a total of 208 HP and a peak torque of 331 lbs-ft. Peugeot has refined the 508 model by widening and raising it to create a smooth and refined SUV.
Peugeot has unveiled the new 508 RXH, an all-wheel drive hybrid model featuring the automaker's HYbrid4 drive technology.
The all-wheel drive unit features a 2.0 liter HDi diesel engine coupled with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle for a total output of 200 PS (147 kW) and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft). The car can also be driven in 'Zero Emissions' electric mode over a limited distance
