2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid gets standard front side airbags in the seats, along with a new audio system and hard drive-based navigation (replacing the old DVD-based).
Credit for this goes to the capacity of the hybrid powertrain Tahoe two-mode hybrid, which combines a 6.0-liter V8 engine with a pair of electric motors and a special broadcast.

From a practical standpoint, however, the Tahoe Hybrid 2012 is not so attractive. An eight passenger SUV full size, the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is available only in a single trim level: 1HY. Tahoe Hybrid has a 6.0 liter V8 engine. All Tahoe hybrids are equipped with a locking rear differential.

A well equipped 2WD Tahoe Hybrid can tow up to 6.200 pounds, while the 4WD model is rated at 5,900 pounds.

The 2012 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability control, traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, rear parking sensors and OnStar emergency communications.

2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid weighs more than a standard Tahoe, and its specific hybrid electronic automatic transmission is a bit lazy at full power.

Not much to distinguish the Tahoe hybrid model, but has several subtle modifications that improve aerodynamics and reduce weight, along with a series of hybrid badges, inside, a different screen.

320 horsepower, 5.3 liter V-8 and six-speed automatic transmissions provide power to most of the line Tahoe. Base versions of the Tahoe just not ride as well as the top line of the Yukon and Escalade models, with the magnetic suspension, however, to check whether you're looking to splurge a little.

Plain and simple, but comfortable supreme is the best way to describe the interior of the Tahoe. Most models come with large seats Tahoe and supportive front bucket seats, and both rows of the first and second there are plenty of headroom and leg. The IIHS has not tested the Tahoe or Yukon almost identical. Side curtain airbags in the Tahoe covering all three rows.

LT and LTZ models add more features, with the top-line LTZ get serious load support enhancements such as a heavy duty locking differential, auto ride suspension load leveling, and wheels 20 inches, plus an upgraded Bose sound system audio focal point, a Marine with voice recognition system, front seats with heating and cooling, heating second row seats, remote start and power adjustable pedals. The Tahoe Hybrid gets many of the same features as the LT, and can be equipped with LTZ features as options.

The hybrid model is almost identical, but it is some subtle add ons that help soften Tahoe aerodynamics.

There are actually two different instrument panel is offered in the Tahoe. A work-oriented interior is set to the base of Tahoe, but the neatly trimmed LTZ interior could have been lifted from a high quality German sedan.
