Could Formula1 Power held?


FIA, automotive federation organizers Formula 1 racing world, will cooperate with the European Commission to organize a new race series that aims to increase public awareness of new technology vehicles.

President of FIA, Jean Todt, had earlier set up a commission to look for opportunities to hold races for the category of electric cars, go karts, and cars housed a single sitting.

"We want to have a race weekend as soon as possible with cars that use new energy," said Todt.

The hope that broaden the opportunities to roll out electric car race series which is equivalent to F1.

"If there is a possibility we could -- around the world, we must do it," he continued.

Both Todt and the FIA really wants to promote environmentally friendly technology in F1 KERS technology to re-introduce (Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems) on the racing season is in progress and introduce more environmentally friendly engines in the racing season 2013.
