Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Will appear in Paris Motor Show 2012
Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV Will appear in Paris Motor Show 20
At the Geneva Motor Show last March we learn about the final version of the Outlander. Now we wait until the end of September to meet its hybrid variant, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV.
This model will be the great challenge of the brand, offering customers a Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid AWD permanent. But for launch will have to wait until 2013.
It has three engines: two electric, one for each axis, and a combustion engine generator. This provision allows the Outlander offer three different types of driving. The first would be the pure act only where the two engines to give traction to all four wheels.
The second is the series where electric motors are supported by the combustion. And finally there is the parallel where the support function is performed by two electric motors. In terms of autonomy, Mitsubishi talks about 800 km with CO2 emissions that would total 50 g / km.
Of the rest little more is known about the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV, so we'll have to wait for the days before the Paris Motor Show 2012 to learn more about it.
